# Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to the CVPilot app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by AlefaLab (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a Free service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".

## Information Collection and Use

The Application collects information when you download and use it. This information may include:

* Your device's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address).
* Internet access for downloading AI models required for CV analysis.
* Network state information to check connectivity before starting model downloads.
* Notification access for displaying download progress of AI models (requested at runtime on Android 13+).
* The pages of the Application that you visit, the time and date of your visit, and the time spent on those pages.
* The operating system you use on your mobile device.

The Application does not gather precise information about the location of your mobile device.

### Artificial Intelligence (AI) Technologies

The Application utilizes on-device Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies (Gemma 3 1B language model powered by llama.cpp) to analyze and provide feedback on your CV/resume. All AI-related text processing and analysis is performed locally on your mobile device. To provide AI features, the Application downloads an AI model over the internet; we recommend using a Wi-Fi connection for this download.

### CV Document Processing

The Application can read and extract text from CV files (PDF, DOCX, and plain text formats). All document processing is performed entirely on your device. Your CV content is not uploaded to any external server.

The Application utilizes third-party services that have their own Privacy Policy. Below are the links to the services used by the Application:

## Account Deletion and Data Removal

Users have the right to request the deletion of their account and all associated data at any time. To request account deletion, please send an email to [support@alefalabapp.com](mailto:support@alefalabapp.com) with the subject "Account Deletion Request". We will process your request and permanently delete your personal information, analysis history, and account credentials from our servers within a reasonable timeframe (typically within 30 days).

## Opt-Out Rights

You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling it.

## Data Retention Policy

The Service Provider will retain User Provided data for as long as you use the Application. If you'd like them to delete data you have provided, please contact them at [support@alefalabapp.com](mailto:support@alefalabapp.com).

## Children

The Application does not address anyone under the age of 13. If the Service Provider discovers that a child under 13 has provided personal information, they will immediately delete it.
